Darjoce Kennels was established in 2004 when the previous kennels of Bulldazlyn British Bulldogs & Broadway Great Danes (NZ) joint together.  Darren first became involved in British Bulldogs in 1994, and Jos with Great Danes in the early 90's.  It was our love of dogs that bought us together, and we now are proud to breed, own and exhibit both breeds, in  Victoria Australia.

We are located near Geelong on 5 acres, and also have two quarter horses, two miniature ponies, sheep, cats, ducks, and we also breed several varieties of purebred chickens.  We also have two wonderful children - Jackson and Erica and another on the way,  due in  October!!

Although the two breeds are nothing alike in looks, and obviously size, all of our dogs are housed together, and enjoy playing in our paddocks as a group.  We have started to establish our own lines in the British Bulldogs, and have future plans to do so with our Great Danes in 2009.

We aim to produce sound, healthy dogs, and have changed our breeding direction several times in order to do so.  We are very focused on producing puppies as close to the breed standards as possible, and to have dogs with great temperaments, type and structure.

We are both involved with our local breed clubs (The British Bulldog Club of Vic), (The Great Dane Club of Vic), and The Great Dane Club Inc in New Zealand.   We have both spent the past years gathering knowledge and experience in our breeds from many long-time breeders, and feel that sharing of information and knowledge is key to being able to continually improve and develop  our chosen breeds.

We have been fortunate to have met some wonderful people throughout the world through our hobby, many of whom are now our best friends.
